In this video, Caroline Adams Miller, MAPP, examines some of the main concepts of positive psychology, and points to research which shows why happiness matters. Martin Seligman’s Wellbeing Theory of P.E.R.M.A., Barbara Frederickson’s Broaden and Build Theory, the longitudinal nuns’ study, and the Undoing Effect are all explained. Miller reveals which five traits of the VIA Strengths Survey are most closely associated with flourishing.
